The organizing committee of the festival “Eurasia.DOC” shared the interim results of the application campaign.
A month has passed since the start of accepting applications for the VIII Documentary Film Festival of the CIS countries “Eurasia.DOC”. During this time, the organizing committee received the first hundred films from the participants.
“We are pleased to share our first victory – overcoming the milestone of one hundred competitive entries. We are pleased to note that interest in the festival among documentary filmmakers is growing. The pace of the application campaign confirms that this is a long-awaited and significant event,” noted Anna Kovaleva, coordinator of the CIS documentary film festival “Eurasia.DOC”.
Applications are still being accepted: you can send a film to participate in the competition program until July 15. The shortlist will include more than 30 films, which will be shown in cinemas in Smolensk and Minsk from September 30 to October 4. The competition laureates will not only be able to take part in festival events, but also present their documentaries to the audience and receive feedback from them. The winners will be determined by a competent jury and awarded valuable prizes and Diplomas.
