A press conference to mark the start of the project will take place in April.
The documentary film festival of the CIS countries “Eurasia.DOC” will be held for the eighth time. Its participants will be documentary filmmakers from all over the world.
The press conference will traditionally be held in the format of a video bridge connecting the International Multimedia Press Center of the Rossiya Segodnya Information Agency with the Sputnik Belarus studio in Minsk. It is expected that experts from other countries of the post-Soviet space will also join the conversation.
Members of the Festival’s organizing committee and jury will speak to journalists. They will voice the thematic blocks of the competition program.
The cities hosting the significant cultural event will be Smolensk and Minsk. The program includes open screenings, master classes and round tables. The festival will also include a youth competition of short documentary films “Eurasia.doc: 4 minutes”.
In 2024, the Documentary Film Festival of the CIS countries “Eurasia.DOC” will be held with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States (IFHC).
