The largest cats on the planet – Amur tigers and Far Eastern leopards – often find themselves defenseless against humans.
Economic activity and poaching almost led to their complete disappearance. This could have been a real tragedy. But thanks to the combined efforts of China and Russia, the population has been restored and continues to grow steadily. “Land of the Big Cats” talks about the habitats and migration routes of tigers and leopards, the rehabilitation of wounded animals and their return to the wild. The focus is on the success of the two countries in preserving biodiversity and new challenges along this path.
